Hello colleagues,
I do not really get the utility of this fields and its impact in the resto of the system it is a time account type field "Accrual Rule Data Effective Date"
the options are Accruable Start Date and " End Date but this same 2 options are inside of the hire, accrual and termination rule so it is inside of the rule where you select this, i don´t know the sense of having this field outside.
Does anybody know what is the real effect of this field?
Regards
Generally speaking I always pick the 1st option, but you can check the details on whether you'd actually want to choose the latter:

When we open the interrogation symbol message in the field itself, it says that it has to do with hire, accrual or termination rule
But what i do not really understand is, if that is specified within the rule itself:
I don not really get the utility.
For example, what would happen if i set the rule Posting Date in "Accrual Rule Parameters. Accruable Start Date"
and i set the time account type field "Accrual Rule Data Effective Date" in Accruable End Date?
What would happen in that case?
Thanks for your help
regards
It would read job info on the end of the period (often 31 December). So lets say on 1-1 (assuming an annual account) you have 1 fte and on 31 Dec you'd have a promotion with more entitlements due to that, it will consider that instead. I haven't seen a usecase for it, but I guess its an option.
