S/4HANA CDS not showing under Custom Analytical Query

I created a custom CDS view (see attached Custom CDS View Published), but its not appearing in Custom Query Analytical Queries (see attached CDS View Not Found in Analytical Queries).

How are you? I have excluded the Tag "SAP S/4HANA Cloud" and included the Tag "SAP S/4HANA Cloud Extensibility" for this question, as Custom Analytical Queries are related to Extensibility.

Hi Ashraf,

The custom CDS view should be of type, Analytical Cube, to be displayed in the app, Custom Analytical Query. You can find more details here https://blogs.sap.com/2022/04/26/how-to-create-analytical-query-from-custom-cds-view/

Dear Ashraf,

In the screenshot attached I can see that your Custom CDS View is of type Standard CDS View.

In order to use a Custom CDS View in Custom Analytical Queries app, you need to create a Custom CDS View of type Analytical Cube or Analytical Dimension.

Hi Tayane,

I created CDS custom view with type Analytical Cube, but now when I try to add required Data Source, add search doesn't show I-MaterialDocument, which I want to use in my Analytical Query. I am attaching screen prints for required data source from View Browse and CDS view from Custom CDS view.

Dear Ashraf,

The CDS View is not showing in the search probably because the search is being filtered by "Recommended Data Source".

The data sources are automatically filtered by suitability so that initially only those data sources that are considered suitable for view building are displayed.

To resolve this, click on "Show Filters" and set the filter for "Recommended Data Source" to "No".

After that the CDS View for Material Document should be available.
