From SAP BTP cockpit, we had created a service instance for "Apache Kafka" in one of our dev space. When we try to delete the service instance from the cockpit, the status returns to "Deletion Failed". When we click the status we get a popup with message "Service instance kafka1: Service broker error: Service broker kafka failed with: Cannot delete service instance for a productive cluster".
How to resolve this issue?
Hi Gopinath,
The system does not allow you to delete the service instance without deleting the underlying service key. you need to first delete the delete the service key and then try to delete the service instance that you have created for "Apache Kafka"
