Foreign Exchange Valuation

Hi All,

Can anybody please let me know the consulting SAP notes issues by SAP on foreign exchange valuations (FAGL_FC_VAL) for non-open item managed accounts.

I understand that at the configuration level, exchange rate difference key needs to be assigned under transaction KDB (t-code OBA1) and same key needs to be assigned in GL master data in order for GL balances to be valuated at month end.

I need to understand that is there any way, where GL balances can be valuated without assigning the key in master data. Thus need to know the exhaustive way to accomplish the same from SAP notes.
