ABAP Push channel with UI5 Apps

Hello Experts,

Couldn't find too many examples and usage of APC/AMC with UI5 Apps in terms of using it as chat or real-time update services on UI.

Would like to know how efficient and secure it is to keep a websocket open in an UI5 app for real-time data exchange. I could see its utilization for a chat service, monitoring RFC queue statuses and providing job progress on UI since it has minimum or no data exchange at least shown in chrome App monitoring tools.

But the question is, should we use it that often just because seemingly there are hardly any network calls or exchange of data or usage of browser memory?

Any experience with analyzing the memory consumption and security aspect of using Websockets with UI5 Apps? Any standard protocols to be maintained while implementation?
