How to automate move of incumbent in MDF talent pool ?

We have a talent flag in succession planning to identify emerging talent. We would want to move the employee to the corresponding MdF talent pool when being set.

we have discovered there is not api for MDF talent pool :

only possibility is to import csv file to update mdf talent pool.

did other customers automated these by rpa or is the scheduled import is the only solution available?
