SAP B1 Bank statement processing. Question about creating .BFP based on txt-file.

I'm writing (first time) a custom bank statement format in EFM and facing with questions:

1. is there any reason to import header data for later use ?

2. how can I reach to the table part (which attribute can help to point first table row)? I created a tree - for each header line added standard segment and for rows - repetitive segment. All these doesn't make any result.
