Preferential origin and country of origin

Which are the differences between preferential origin and country of origin?

Are they saved in different fields in SAP?

I know that country of origin can be saved in:

1. MARC-HERLK: at material/plant level
2. MCHA-HERKL: at material/plant/batch level
3. EINA-URZLA: at purchase info record level
4. WRF_TEXTILE_FIBR-ORIGIN: at textile composition level (only for fashion verticalization)
