Is it possible to make an Heterogeneous System Copy, where the Source: HANA and Target: Oracle?
I receive this request for this environment (PRG) and I'd like to know if this a supportable technical scenario.
And if yes, could you send me the documentation related on it?

Hi,
there are scenarios for doing a system copy from HANA to another database, please see SAP Note 1718576 - Migration from SAP HANA to another database system

Hello Ricardo,
Yes, it's possible to perform a heterogeneous system copy of SAP ECC from a HANA database to an Oracle database. However, this process requires careful planning and execution to ensure a successful migration. Here exporting the system data from the HANA database & importing those data's to Oracle database were done by Software Provisioning Manager (SWPM), while converting the HANA-specific database objects to Oracle-compatible objects was done by SAP Database Migration Option (DMO) tool.
Please refer the below mentioned SAP Notes,
3256426 - Database Migration Option (DMO) of SUM 2.0 SP16
2854684 - Best Practices for System Copies
1738258 - System Copy for Systems Based on SAP NetWeaver - Using Software Provisioning Manager 1.0
2568783 - Release Note for Software Provisioning Manager 2.0 (recommended: SWPM 2.0 SP14)
Thanks & Regards,
Anto P

I checked the SAP Note 1718576 - Migration from SAP HANA to another database system and it's for BW systems.
But talking about ECC, there is some scenario where is possible to migrate from HANA to Oracle?
