Point of sale cancellation in sap business bydesign

Hello Sap community,

It was observed that during the cancellation of POS transactions, the cancellation was done real time i.e. at that particular date and time the cancellation was perform. This has a negative impact on reporting such that it either overshoots COGS or under report the COGS.

Can anyone advice on how to go about such issues
