Can I entry other language in Rate Plan Template parameter fields

Hi Expert,

When I create a Rate plan template I try to entry the parameter in Chinese for example : Rate Element is one-time charge and the field of price I choose parameter and try to enter the parameter description with Chinese. I cannot entry but I can change it under the parameter definition list. I change the parameter description from English to Chinese and save success. I also try to assign the rate plan template and rate plan to product and create subscription. Seems fine. Does it mean I can type any language in parameter fields?

Hi Monica,

you can use any language for the description of the parameters in the rate plan template. However, you cannot describe them in several languages at the same time. We currently only support a single input string which is shown to all users regardless of their language setting in the launchpad.

Thanks for your reply. You mean I can entry any language in the parameter field. But I cannot input Chinese directly here. I have to entry with English first. Then change it to Chinese in Pricing definition tab, right?

Hi Monica,
it is not intended that you need to first enter the description in English and later on change it in the parameter definition to Chinese. We're looking into the issue and keep you updated once we know more.
