Why do I have a different amount of views to migrate in P-System when comparing to Q-System?

Dear SAP,

I'm getting a bigger number of Custom CDS Views to migrate when comparing to my Quality System.

In P-System, when I go to Custom CDS Views app, in the upper right side of the page, there's a button "Migrate Views" with the number of views to migrate. This number is bigger when I compare with the same button and the same app in Q-System.

Why is that?

Thanks.

Dear Customer,

In 2005 release we have created the new Custom CDS Views app to replace the Custom CDS Views (to be deprecated) app. The new app doesn't show the Custom CDS Views that were created with the old app unless you migrate them there.

The difference between both systems is because you have already migrated the views in Quality System but haven't transported them to Productive System.

See the example below:
Custom CDS View YY1_EXAMPLE is in Migrate Views list in Productive System. However in Quality System when I search for this view in Custom CDS Views app, the view is available.

If the view is available in the app, it means that it's already migrated, because the app doesn't show the Custom CDS Views that were not migrated.

Now, going to a deeper analysis, the Custom CDS View YY1_EXAMPLE in Quality System is assigned to Software Collection YY1_EXAMPLE and wasn't transported yet to Productive System.

To resolve this, you need to transport the views that were already migrated in your Quality System to your Productive System.

Best regards,

SAP Support.
