Error Overtime overlaps with working or core time,was therefore delimited

Dear Experts,

while maintaining Overtime infotype 2005 for 04.10.2016 error is showing as "Overtime overlaps with working or core time,was therefore delimited"

0007 infotype is for 1st shift(from 07AM to 04.30PM), Infotype 2003-Substitution is maintained for 2nd shift(04 PM To 11.30PM). In Infotype 2011-Time Events(employee having In and Out Timings for 04.10.2016) as 04PM upto next day morning 07.30AM.

But now while maintaining infotype 2005 below error is coming,

"Overtime overlaps with working or core time,was therefore delimited"

0007 infotype for next day(05.10.2016) is also same (from 07AM to 04.30PM).

Please suggest.

while maintaining infotype record for Overtime(2005) for employee no 60043(Devappa Moolya),

1) Entered PERNR,Infotye 2005 clicked on Create.Entered Start Date 04.10.2016,End Date 04.10.2016,Overtime Hours(7 Hours) and pressed enter.System showed Warning message.pressed Enter.System showed below Error message,

"Overtime overlaps with working or core time,was therefore delimited".

Followed same process for Overtime Start Date 06.10.2016, End Date 06.10.2016.

2) Entered PERNR,Infotye 2005 clicked on Create.Entered Start Date 04.10.2016,End Date 04.10.2016,Overtime Hours(7 Hours) and pressed enter.System showed Warning message.Without pressing Enter clicked on Save button.Instead of showing error message overtime record got saved successfully. Why?

Followed same process for Overtime Start Date 06.10.2016, End Date 06.10.2016.

3) Now, Entered PERNR, Period Start Date as 04.10.2016 and End Date as 06.10.2016, Infotype 2005,clicked on Overview button for deleting overtime entry saved in 2nd Step.

Selected Overtime entry for Start Date 04.10.2016,End Date 04.10.2016 and tried Deleting it but again system is showing same error message as,

"Overtime overlaps with working or core time,was therefore delimited".

Employees 0007-Planned Working Time: For 04.10.2016 and 06.10.2016:1st shift(from 07AM To 16.30PM) with Time Management Status 1-Time evaluation of actual times.

Substitution 2003 for 04.10.2016 and 06.10.2016: 2nd shift(from 15.00PM To 24.00PM).

Substitution 2003 for 05.10.2016: 3rd shift(from 23.00PM To 07.30AM)

Time Events 2011: 1) For 04.10.2016: P10-15:01:00PM P20-07:30:00AM

2) For 06.10.2016: P10-14:44:00PM P20-07:30:00AM

Entered Substitution 2003 for 05.10.2016: 3rd shift(from 23.00PM To 07.30AM).

Time Events 2011:Clock In P10 for 05.10.2016:22.39PM

Clock Out P20 for 05.10.2016:07.30AM(06.10.2016)

Please check and revert.

Seems that you need to create a substitution on the next day because the employee can't finish the shift at 07:30 AM (05.10.2016) and start Shift 1 (05.10.2016) at 07:00 AM, 30 minutes before the end of the previous shift.

What did the system delimit? The Overtime after Shift 2 or the Absence for Shift 1 on 05.10.2016 ?
