Possible to disable/hide/modify CurrentUser() function displayed in many reports?

My organization created a report template many years ago which displays the 'CurrentUser()' function in the header. We have recently been told that the information displayed in that function can be linked to PII, as we use our CAC ID for SSO. We now have over 500 reports that need to be modified to hide that information. Is there any way to globally modify, disable, or hide that function/information to avoid the many hours of modifying each report? Maybe something via the CMC? Any other ideas for easier ways around that?
