Revenue plan for quarterly billing

Hi Experts,

I have a scenario for SD Quarterly billing.

In S_ALR_87013543 report system calculates planned revenue as Condition value multiply by total billing quarters.

If my condition amount is 100 for 3 nos ,them condition values = 100x3 =300

If I plan for one year, then I will get 4 quarters hence the planned revenues that system is calculating is 300 x 4=1200

Why are the months not taken into consideration in the report.

Ideally it should calculate as 300 x4 x 3=3600

Am I missing anything or any change in configuration is required?

Hi ,

Please find the below screen shots.

for qty =2 no's ,value =12,000/-

quarterly billing for one year ,gives 4 quarters.

approx 1,43,225/- is correctly being calculated

But in PS report it calculates 2 X 6000/- = 12000/-

12000 X 4 quarters = 48,000/-

What calculations are in PS reports are also as per std .It considers condition values and then the billing plan dates (4 dates)

How should I achieve the desired results so that the system calculates values as per Sales document.

Thanks for your help.

The issue was resolved by implementing the note:828853

The system was taking condition type and billing dates into consideration for calculating planned revenue values .

This works fine for monthly billing.

When quarterly billing is in consideration the settlement period also should be considered from the billing plan.

The above note was implemented manually to resolve the issue.
