LSMW BAPI BUS2012 Purchase Order Item No EKPO-EBELP Issue

Hi,

I am trying to migrate purchase orders using BAPI.

Everything is working fine except EKPO-EBELP is getting updated incorrectly.

For example I am migrating PO have 2 lines with item number 30 and 40 but then system is ignoring it and assigning default item number as 10 and 20 instead of what is in upload file as 30 and 40.

I check in IDOC segments that item number 30 and 40 are passed correctly but still when I display the purchase order then its showing as 10 and 20.

Best Regards

Murtuza

Hi, yeah, don´t get stuck there, just ask them in OSS.

The only note closer to this topic I found was 2613632. One thing you can try before ask SAP is to test the BAPI in SE37 directly with the same input parameters but outside LSMW.

Good luck, all the best there,

Hey,

Have you tried "00030" and "00040" as input?

Double check the other segments in which the item field exists as input.

I assume EBELN is also an input here and is working fine, or?

All the best,

Hello,

thank you I have already tried this and it’s not working. I have check all the segments and can see proper values. All data is going correctly only this item number is ignored and sap gives its own numbering.

I have also use BAPI for sales orders which is very similar to purchase order but there it’s working fine.

I hope someone from SAP can look into this issue too because I have reached the dead end.
