We have a customer who runs/extracts more than 10,000 transactions monthly (payment files in standard ISOXML format) from AP Payments. Would you please help how much space will SAP acquire?

Since you are using XML format, I think you should take a trial run first for few number of records and then decide on the storage capacity.
After identifying storage requirement, to scale it up is routine task for technical people.
