Two Solutions created in Live tenant in SAP Cloud Studio

Hi Everyone,

I couldn't do an upgrade of a solution in a live tenant.

I needed to upgrade a solution in SAP Cloud Studio for live tenant. I selected fix from the already deployed solution (it wasn't active the button to create a patch solution).

I uploaded the upgrade from the Implementation Manager and now I have two solutions for the same Addon.

How can I disable the first one and live the latest version working?

Now everytime I log in SAP cloud studio I get the message "Production fix not allowed as solution is not yet scoped sap cloud studio".

Could anyone advise?

Hi Vincent,

Yes, I read that article after I tried to correct the deployed solution.

I can not delete solutions in live tenant. At this stage I need a way to disable the first installed solution and enable the second one.

Does anyone know how to do it?

Hi Guadalupe Arias,

You can turn off the scope of first solutions in tennant live.

You follow path: Business Configuration - Implementation Projects -> Edit Project Scope -> Next and stop at step 4. Questions.

Select the item on the left, follow the file .bac in SDK and list on the right, and select the questions to disable at column In Scope you uncheck , column Review Status is Not Reviewed. Click Next -> Finish.

Normally to update a solution on a Live tenant you select the "Upload Solution" button in the Implementation Manager. "Fix" is just for changing something small and urgent on Production because something is really bad and cannot wait.

Note that you must probably first Revert fixes before the "Upload Solution" button becomes available.

If you have double solutions you can normally delete the wrong one. Be sure the correct one is enabled (the "Enable" button in Implementation Manager). Warning: Extension fields are SEPERATE per solution copy. So if people adjusted extension data while the wrong solution was active, this data will be lost.
