Hello All,
I have an InfoPackage that is set "Data Target Only" under processing tab. I want to make it "PSA and then into Data targets". All of the options are greyed out.
Any ideas why it is not allowing to change the IP Processing type.
Thanks
Viren
Hi Viren,
I think this infopackage is system generated infopackage for any data mart(ODS or CUBE). Try to create one more infopackage againest the same infosource, then you can change the processing type in this new infopackage.
Hope it Helps

Hi Viren,
When you are generataing export data source for any infoobject(characteristics) or ODS or CUBE system generates two infopackages(one for full and one for delta), infosource & datasources with name 8<object name(ods or cube or infoobject)>.
Hope it helps

Assigning points is the way of saying Thanks in SDN.
Hi Ammu,
Check the settings of settings of the ODS. Automatic further update is checked or not...?? if not check it and activate the ODS again and see.
Updating the ODS Object Data in Data Targets:
From the context menu for your ODS object, choose Update ODS Data in Data Targets. Select the update method. You arrive in the scheduler. There you can update the ODS data by using the export InfoSource. This export InfoSource is automatically generated with the activation of the ODS object together with the transfer rules.
This generated export InfoSource can not be edited, which means that the transfer rules cannot be changed, and Only Data Targets is set as the processing type. Loading using the PSA is also unavailable.

Ammu, plz try to create your own post(whenever you are asking some questions), so you can assign some points, if it helps
