Study/certification path for SCM IT Project Manager (but zero SAP experience) for ECC 6.0 SD/MM

*My background. IT Project Manager with 20 years experience mostly in Supply Chain Management. None in SAP but worked with other ERP like QAD etc.

*Current Situation

Joined an US-based MNC as Supply Chain IT Business Partner role.

The company uses SAP. (while I have zero experience in SAP)

Currently uses SD/MM/FI/CO ECC 6.0. Will upgrade to S4/HANA with few years

i) I need to have a working knowledge of SAP SD and MM modules.

ii) My company does not ask me but having a goal like getting a certification motivates me.

iii) C_TSCM62_67 - Sales and Distribution, ERP 6.0 EhP7 seems no longer avaiable

iv) C_TSCM52_67 - Procurement with SAP ERP 6.0 EhP7 is still there.

I wanted to study and get certified ini SD/MM ECC 6.0 while working and before S4/Hana migration. But ECC 6.0 certifications seems to be going to retirement.

Question:

a) Is #iv) "C_TSCM52_67 - Procurement with SAP ERP 6.0 EhP" going to be retired soon? If so, when?

b) Please suggest a study/certification path for the coming 1-2 year and 2/3 year span.

I do not mind studying hard.
