Help with the HTML Collection Renderer

Hi huys

It seems to me that the HTML Collection Renderer only can be used for a customized header and not a customized footer like I need. I need to place an archive link in the buttom right of an iview that points to another page in the portal, and is trying to achieve this functionality using the HTML Collection Renderer.

It is working fine, but I would really like the link to be displayed in the buttom instead of the top.

And if possible I would like there to be no space between the HTML Collection Header and the links to the content in the folder. At present I have an extra line break between the HTML Collection Header and the content links of the folder.

Any help will be rewarded.

Kind regards,

    Hi Martin,

I have used the HTML Collection renderer in the way you have mentioned. What you need (via flexUI coding) is:

    1. Create your own layout controller. (copy an existing one)

    2. Set the layout the way you want it.

    3. Assign flavors to the grid areas so that you can map it to a corresponding collection renderer.

    4. Create a layout set using your new layout controller

    5. Add the HTML Renderer (with the flavor specified) to the layout set.

      Hi Vic

I figured this out without coding anything. The first several times I tried to assign the List-flavor to the HTML Collection Renderer (thereby making it show in the buttom of the iview), it didn't work. But as it often is the case when working with Layout Sets, I had to try a couple of extra times and be patient for the changes to strike through.

      Best regards
