Is there a possibility that inbound emails for a Mail channel can be received by SAP Service Cloud directly by a customer defined domain?
We are thinking about an approach via MX records. These DNS entries determine which mail server is responsible for a domain. In that that way, the corporate infrastructure of the mail traffic can be outsourced completely to SAP whereby the complexity of the own corporate setup is not increased.
Currently we are working on a solution with a DKIM key activation for a certain customer domain and forwarding it to the tenant email address as an inbound channel.
However, the SAP Service Cloud customer is not completely happy with that approach for the above mentioned reasons.
So is there a way with MX records or likewise?
