Error triggering an event from ECC to SAP Event Mesh

Hello Experts,

I am building an integration to integrate SAP ECC events to SAP Event Mesh. I am using creation of a Material event as a trigger point for this integration. After creating a material through MM01 tcode when I go to the transaction /n/asadev/aci_monitor, I come across the below mentioned error.

Hi varunvichare,

This issue could be related due to missing codepages configuration in SPRO. You have to set ISO Standard with UTF-8. It’s a small configuration and is documented in one of our missions:

Hi Tobias,

I did the codepages configuration and tried triggering an event. But now I am getting the error nothing uploaded: cloud type not selected. in SLG1. Could you please suggest how to resolve this error.

Hi varunvichare,

Please make sure that the BC sets with the addon configuration are activated as documented HERE.

After activating the BC sets, make sure to transport all the table entries as described HERE.
