Lead time in the projected stock consideration of production proposed by IBP

Hi everyone,

is there a way in SAP IBP time series to add a lead time in the production proposed by IBP in order to see it available in the projected stock one week later?

Example: production of 5000 pieces o product A in week 1, but it will be available in week 2 for quality check, therefore it needs to be available in week 2 and should enter in the projected stock calculation of week 2.

Hello Francesco,

with IBP 2302 the new feature "Goods Receipt Lead Time and Calendars" is planned. This should cover your requirement.
Preview of the corresponding planned What's New entry:
"You can now define a goods receipt lead time for location and production sources, in which you can model processes such as quality inspection. Goods receipt calendars are also available to specify non-working periods for such processes (only supported by the time-series-based supply planning infinite heuristic). Goods receipt processes can’t start or end in a non-working period of a goods receipt calendar. You can use these calendars as well as other relevant calendars."

Support for this feature in the TSBP optimizer and finite heuristic is on the roadmap for IBP 2305.

For now only workaround solution is to consider this additional time in Production Lead time attribute in Production source Header master data but this will also shift production receipt KF accordingly
