Master Production Scheduling (MPS) planning all levels of BOM instead of only up to one level

Hi All,

I am working on Master Production Scheduling (MPS) in ECC. I have BOM structure with two levels as follows with their MRP type's as shown below.

I have entered the PIR for FG material and executed MPS using T-code MD41 and system planning all the three levels means FG, HALB and Raw material. my expectation is that system should plan only up to one level means FG and SFG as per the definition of MPS and not Raw material (second level) . Please advise. is this behavior of MPS as expected or am I missing any settings.
