Hi.
I have a problem with a maintenance plan, it don´t generate the next work order until I go to IP10 and only need save without any modification and release the next order, but if I don´t go to IP10 and do this, the call stays on scheduled, hold.
I have selected the completion requirement but until with the past work order in TECO the plan still without release the next work order.
Do you have a background scheduled job running IP30 or IP30H every week or every day?
Have you checked the selection criteria which is used in the variant for that IP30 job? You might be excluding that maintenance plan from the scheduled IP30 run.

Ok - Let's clarify something SAP by itself will not generate maintenance calls for maintenance plans unless deadline monitoring is ran.
Deadline monitoring can be ran in IP10 (as you know) or in IP30 or IP30 H and this can be done manually or via a background job. Most companies just have a background job running at a specific frequency.
I'm 99% sure your previous company had a background job running IP30 and that's how the maintenance calls for the maintenance plan were created.
Your new company might have a background job too. If you're not familiar with how to find SAP background jobs you might not even have access to the TCodes you need to troubleshoot this issue. Ask your SAP technical or functional team for help, they should be able to let you know which job is running program RISTRA20, how often and which variant they're using.
Once you have the variant, replicate it manually in IP30 and check your results.
My plans are not automatically generating work orders through background job daily. but from quite some times its been not generating work orders.
my questions are: how do we check the background variant and do some changes being end user perspective.
how do we reschedule if the job is been held in the background.
how to see the job name and escalate to consultants
