"In our project structure, both Profit Center and Cost center are defined. For us, the Profit Center is the leading element in reporting. Cost center controls the invoice release workflow. This is defined in the project definition (master data/no account assignment element) and in the WBS.
When the project structure was set up, one department was initially responsible but in the future the incoming invoices are to be released by a different department.
A change at the upper level was possible, but not at the WBS level (account assignment level). According to information, this is because postings were made at WBS level.
We would like to know to what extent the posted WBS level can also be changed independently of postings."
