How to receive notifications via SAP Mobile Start using SAP Netweaver 7.4 with EHP7 for SAP ERP 6.0

Hi SAP,

We would like to receive an alert on our smart device using SAP Mobile Start and the Launchpad Service (SAP BTP).

However we are using SAP Netweaver 7.4 with EHP7 for SAP ERP 6.0.

Is this possible and is there any documentation on this?
