Does BTP Free Tier allow to configure a Service Channel for an SAP HANA Database?

Hello SAP HANA Cloud and SAP Connectivity service Team,

as described in Configure a Service Channel for an SAP HANA Database I've just tried to establish the connection, but I get this error:

In the HANA Cloud Configuration I've enabled the Cloud Connector connections:

Also I've updated the certificates in my Cloud Connector connection to the subaccount hosting the HANA Cloud.

Might this be a restriction like in the BTP Trial according to this senctence:

"The following procedure requires a productive SAP HANA instance that is available in the same subaccount."

But I would hope that for BTP Free Tier this restriction does not exist.
