Can Oracle 10 and Sql Server 2008 databases work with BO 4.3 ?

Hi All, We are planning to upgrade from BO 3.1 to latest 4.3 (via 4.2) . During our disovery phase we found two of the databases that business run reports via BO are on very old version Oracle 10 and Sql Server 2008. As per 4.3 PAM document , the Oracle DB and Sql Server DB supported versions on 4.3 are Oracle 12c to 19c and Sql Server 2012 and above. If we upgrade to 4.3 , will business be able to run/extracts reports against their databases with very old version Oracle 10 and Sql Server 2008 or do they also needed to upgrade to match BO 4.3 setup? If not , please can you suggest what can be done to keep those db's compatible with BO 4.3 ? Please kindly assist
