I'm having some problems with the XML Forms Builder that I haven't run into in the past, and I'm hoping someone can help me. I'm having trouble locating a solution in documentation..
When I open the XML Forms Builder, it opens up fine. Then I click Open Project to open a current XML Form, and I get the following error:
Could not connect to server: https://zheppaci:8888/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.xfbuilder
If it's accessing the server through zheppaci:8888, it is correct that I should get this error because we access the portal through TAM and that's not the correct hostname. But how do I change this server specification? I found it under the Global Settings tab of the XML Forms Builder, but it's read-only. I looked in the URL Generator settings, and the host name is set correctly there (NOT zheppaci) but apparently this is not where the XML Forms Builder gets the server information from.
Where can I change this server specification so I can open current XML form projects? I haven't had this problem in the past, but I guess a patch must have reset something...?
Thanks in advance,
Fallon
Hi,
In URL Generator Service in System Administration->System Configuration->KM->CM->Global Services
Have you modified Host field ?

The Host field in the URL Generator Service does NOT match the Server field in the XML Forms Builder. This was one of the first places I checked. The Host field in the URL Generator Service is the correct one, but is not the hostname that the XML Forms Builder is using.
So where does the XML Forms Builder get its server information?
Hi Patricio -
> This Global Settings means:
> Cross-project settings that are defined in the configuration of Content Management
Yes, I thought perhaps these cross-project settings in particular were in the URL Generator Service configuration in Content Management. Are there other areas in Content Management I could check, in which this property of the XML Forms Builder may be defined?
And hello Ravi - When you suggested running the xmlform checker, do you mean the environment check tool? Or is there another xmlform checker I'm unaware of?
Thank you all for your help. This is quite the mystery to me.
Cheers,
Fallon
