Dear all,
currently we are running External Commission Agreements where we pay commissions for already paid sales invoices. Here we are using a condition contract in the area of Settlement Management. This works fine with a dedicated percentage based on net value in the sales invoice.
The new requirement is that the user should be able to use a special percentage or a fixed value for a specific sales document and NOT to consider the percentage condition type in a condition contract during settlement.
A proposed solution could be to create a new condition type where the amount/the percentage could be entered directly in the sales document which has to be considered later on in a condition contract.
Questions:
- Is it mandatory to create and use condition types in a sales document for the new requirement?
- If yes: What I have to do to consider a condition type (out of a sales document) in a condition contract?
- Any alternative idea from the community?
- Do you see any chance of using just one condition contract where all 3 requirements
- percentage condition type in a condition contract
- percentage value in a sales order or in a sales invoice
- fixed value in a sales order or in a sales invoice
would be considered for paying the commission?
- If I could use one condition contract where all 3 requirements from previous bulletpoint are used, how can I ensure to calculate the commission just once? Of course, the agent gets paid either based on one of three possibilities.
Thanks in advance,
Thorsten
