Hi All,

We have a issue with webdynpro executed using IE or NWBC .

The issue is that after loading application user will provide a material as input and enter if the material is in multiple plants user will get a popup to select the plant from the list and it continues to display the data in ALV but after I selected the plant we are getting a spinning wheel which never ends either we have to close or re run the application. When we re ran the application some times we are getting the spinning wheel and some times not.

I have already used the application parameter WDDELTARENDERING = ON.

First I thought It could be issue with either Java version or NWBC but I did updated them as well .(By the way if it is the problem with them we should always get the spinning wheel)

Is there any way i can achieve this kind of scenario, please suggest as I have already exhausted all the ways i knew.

PS : We are in

SAP GUI 7.3 with patch 4

Thanks

Naveen

Hi,

Your MIMEs are probably inconsistent.

Run report 'WDG_MAINTAIN_UR_MIMES' in transaction 'SE38'.

Also you must check the consistency section acording to the Wiki page below:

Have you opened the web browser console to check for Javascript errors? If an application stops responding, its often because the Javascript has broken. That can be for a number of reasons.

In IE Quirks mode v.s. Standards mode is significant. With older applications designed to run in quirks (backwards compatibility) mode.

Try displaying the page using "Compatibility View" mode to see if you get the same issue.

Check for any browser add-ons that might interfere with the Javascript. If in doubt temporarily disable them as re-test.

If these steps fail, then investigate the rendering Note fixes described above.
