SAP Build Process Automation access for Employees

Hello,

I am an SAP employee and trying to add the SAP Process Automation tool so that I can practice and follow along with the LCNC Learning Journey I have subscribed to with the hopes of getting certified.

I followed the instructions to register on the SAP store, etc. And it is asking for credit card details, is it necessary as an employee to add credit card details to access the SAP Build tool, I am going through the LCNC Learning Journey and am really excited about the tool, but I am having a hard time getting access to it, is it an easier way for SAP internal to gain access?

Hello larryduncan,

Yes, providing credit card details is needed as it is one of the step to subscribe to "Free Tier"

I created an SAP BTP environment via the cockpit

https://controlcenter.ondemand.com/index.html

in that one you can enable SAP Build functions.

Hi Twan,

I attempted to use my BTP environment for Build but I am not able to successfully setup IAS which is a required pre-requisite. It seems like IAS needs an SAP cloud product license to work (CRM error). I can forward the error to you. When I tried to go to open a case using the group suggested in the error message, I was not able to open a case. My understanding from previous work is that SAP employees are not supposed to use customer technical support.

Any help is appreciated.

Thank You, I did that and it cancelled my order, it stated the productive system I tried to access is only for partners and customers, I think I am missing something. Thank You.
