BI Universes based on ERP tables

Hello BI Experts,

I have some question regarding BI Universes. I want to create the Universes based on ERP tables. What should I be aware of? I know that the process depends on module functions. What are the further 'requirements'? Please help.

Ok, thx for your support 🙂 And do you maybe know what are the size limitation of joined tables in Crystal Reports (using direct SAP ERP connection)? I also coudn't find this information.

Kamila - Crystal Reports 2016/2013 is the exception - using Crystal you can connect directly to ERP tables without going through the universe. Size depends on the sizing of your ERP box (smaler the better)

You can't create universes directly against ERP tables

You can create universes against ECC InfoSets or function modules
