Hi,
If I want to use SAC and DWC together how do I make sure they are indeed in a space aware connectivity?
As far as I understand they are suppose to be on the same tenant for this to work.
Does this count as the same?
https://name.eu10.hcs.cloud.sap/ - sac
https://name-1.eu10.hcs.cloud.sap/ - dwc
I solved the issue by connecting SAC to DWC in administration -> system configuration by providing the DWC url.

Hi 101ger
I'm not 100% sure on this, but DWC is typically provisioned with a small in-built SAC tenant usually with 1, 5, or 10 BI users. Is that the case for you?
Based on what i see with my customers, they also usually have a separate 'full use' SAC tenant (as you describe) with many more SAC BI/Planning licenses. They normally then configure DWC to 'point' to that full-use SAC tenant.
Perhaps the idea here (for space awareness) is to create the connection first in this embedded SAC (with its relationship to the space), then transport/export that connection to the full use tenant?

I've resolved the issue and connected my DWC to SAC thrugh the administration tab.
I can now access the live data connection to DWC from SAC and import Datasets from DWC into stories in SAC.
However, I cant manage to allow other SAC users(BI administrator roles/full rights) to use the live data connection to DWC in their stories.
This despite the fact they have also registered their user in DWC and can access it.
They see the live connection to DWC but cannot see the space.
this is what I see as the sac system owner:
Tthis is what they see:
Hi 101ger,
These days you should typically have a SAC and a DWC tenant. SAC is connected to DWC via the SAP Data Warehouse Cloud live connection.
When you create a new story, choose the SAP Data Warehouse Cloud live connection, choose a space (only spaces where you are assigned are visibile) and choose your analytical dataset.
That's all you need to get going.
As you migth want to explore our SAC and DWC business content in the future, I would recommend to use the connection name "SAPDWC", as this one will be required to run the business content.
