SAP PP -MD74-Question on Deactivating the requirement

Hi All,

I have a question on deactivating the requirement without reducing the unconsumed PIR in the MD74

I tried searching the community but couldn't find an answer for this yet.

Problem is as below

2 requirement plans maintained

Plan - ZNOV with material A, and with planned qty 1000 in the month of November

Plan - ZDEC with same material A, and with planned qty 1000 in the month of December

No customer requirement yet assigned for both the demand plans.

Now i want to deactivate the November month requirement using transaction MD74.

For the parameters i choose, plant , requirement plan No as "ZNOV" and re organization date (Key date) as 30-NOV.

Then Deactivate checkbox marked and executed

Expected behavior is to deactivate only the requirement of material A maintained in the plan ZNOV.

However i observe that for both the plans ZNOV and ZDEC requirements for material A have been de activated

Why the same material in a different plan got deactivated though i specified the plan name in the parameter?

Is re-organization period ,doesn't relevant for deactivating requirement?

Please explain the reason for this
