OAuth2 Client Credential Flow

Dear all,

I have seen that with the notification event, we have OAuth 2 with client credential flow to send notifications to an external client. But when we use the output management with the external service and use the communication scenario “Output Management XML Integration” we see only the basic and Certificate Authentication. The external system we need to send the message cannot work with basic and certificate authentication. It supports only OAuth2 with client credentials flow.

Will the OAuth2 client credential flow support sometimes with ByD? If not is there a custom enhancement we can do? Here for example https://blogs.sap.com/2020/10/22/bridging-the-event-pub-sub-for-sap-business-byd-with-an-internal-push-approach/ is a custom development with CAS. Can we use the same technique to enhance the output management or the outbound part of the communication arrangement to support OAuth2 Client Credential Flow. It is strange why with the notification event the OAuth2 Client Credential Flow is supported but at other places not.
