Purchase order recursive notification

Is it possible to have a recursive notification for the PO's approvals?

They use the Workflow for the PO's 2 deadlines already for the start of the approval workflow, 1 day and 5 day deadlines, but they wish to know if there is a way to notify the approvers of the creation of the PO and the need to approve it besides those deadlines?

You can use the feature to notify users about the new work items just after their creation. Selected recipients can receive an email whenever approval for a purchase order is pending.
