Material Document number range

Hi Expert

I would like to change Material document number range, is it possible to do this in public cloud? Material document is a document , for example, when I execute Post goods issue/receipt. now default is like this "4900000316". I prefer using "6000000000"

Hi,
Please check option - Define Number Assignment for Material and Physical Inventory Documents (SSCUI ID 103896).
In this step, you maintain the number assignment for the material documents.

With this configuration step, you can only process the following settings:
-->Change number range status
-->Change interval limits
-->Insert year

With this configuration step, you cannot do the following:
-->Change transaction/event types
-->Create new groups
-->Change group assignments

If you want to maintain number range intervals for an existing group, proceed as follows:

To change the number range status: Choose Change Number Level
To change the interval limits: Choose Change intervals
To insert the year:
a) Choose Change intervals
b) Mark desired Number Range Number
c) Choose More -> Edit -> Insert year.
d) Maintain the number interval for the new fiscal year.
e) If you do not want to use the year-related number assignment method, enter 9999 in the field Year.
f) Save your settings.
