Would like to know how I can link or create joins between dimensions and facts imported from a relational DB (Netezza) given that the database contains dimension tables and fact tables with common keys. I have checked the 'combine datasources' feature at the model level and the 'link dimensions' feature at the story level in SAC. While the former allows linking between different datasources, the latter allows linking between dimensions from different models. I could not find a way to link a dimension and fact from the same datasource at the model level.
could anyone please provide the answer/suggestions.
