MDG-BP model extended with new Custom entity, moving data from staging to active area issue.

Hi MDG Experts,

In MDG-BP (Reuse)model, extended with new Custom entity, Unable to move data from staging area to active area because

new Custom entity is not appearing in the parameter (it_entities_all

) of handler class (IF_MDG_BS_BP_ACCESS_HANDLER~SORT_ENTITIES).

Can anyone suggest me the solution?

Have you followed all the steps reported in this extensibility guide? The paragraph related the handler class should help you to fix your issue: it explains how you can define your own custom handler class.

Hi Pramodkumar,

Are you able to see your entity data in 'IS_DATA' importing parameter in method 'SAVE_ADDITIONAL_OBJECT_DATA', if no then you need to recheck all the steps which you have followed while creating a new custom entity.

Yes, In Parameter 'IS_DATA', my custom entity fields are there but they are empty.

Check if you have registered your handler class in view maintenance: 'V_MDG_BS_BP_HDL'.
