SAP S/4HANA How to modify addon field based on User

Hi,

I would like to get some advice of controlling the custom addon field based on user.

My requirement is I would like to control the field(modifying/changes) based on user and want to throw error message in Service Order. What can I do to fulfill my requirement?

Or is there any documentation that you would like to advice ?
