Treatment for WIP for Service Orders as posting occurs

Hi,

Is it possible during the Service order process to trigger a WIP accrual for the ‘Charge out’ (Services) rate as part of the Service Order process so that it mimics the treatment as per the Projects process, at the point that time has been approved?

Thanks for content link sent.

However, the customer would like a categoric answer from SAP as to whether it is possible for the Service Order process to mimic the Projects process whereby, at the point at which time is approved, it triggers accrued revenue at the charge out rate (ie. the charge to the customer), as a WIP adjustment, as it does for Projects?

Could you please point out what is the recognition key that you mentioned about the project is using?
