Hello,
I have subscribed to SAP Build Apps for free tier, I can access the cockpit, but when creating an AppGyver app (Web and Mobile, or Backend) I get an issue as the project doesn't create :
I see my project is not added to the list, I also have a HTTP 400 Bad Request :
Could I have an help on this issue ? I have added all roles collection, also have created the destination and it's check connection is OK.
Hello Bea,
It seems to work now, but for sure the IAS and SAP Build Apps instance have to be created on US servers for now, it's weird that we can do that on EU Frankfurt server where it's not techncally possible to run it as of today.
Also if I may do a comment, it's weird that depending of the IAS tenant I will login I don't access to the same tools (I can't access BAS or Workzone when connected to the custom IAS for SAP Build Apps, and vice versa). It would be nice if the SAP Build lobby could make us access everything without having to change the login tenant every time depending of the tool we want to launch.
Thanks,
Dimitri

Hi Dimitri,
SAP Build Apps is available on the EU Frankfurt and US East data center. Can you please open a support ticket for the CA-LCA-ACP component so we can review your issue in more detail? We can then also review your IAS client setup together with our IAS experts to find a better solution for you.
Kind regards,
Bea

Hello Beatrice,
Thanks for your answer. I see the OpenID Issuer URL Field from my IAS tenant, it seems to match. I tried to rebind, also to delete the SAP Build App subscription and to recreate it (whether manually or by the booster), and the issue is still the same, it tells effectively that the project can only be created by the Custom IDP, but I already have it.
I see on the IAS tenant that the SAP Build Apps applications are added to the tenant, but not binded to the user group maybe.
On the IAS I also created the user group to match with the user group in the role collection in BTP cockpit, also added my user in there, but again it's not binding. I assume the SAP Build Apps service is all new so there is maybe still some things missing.
Thanks for keeping us updated of a solution.
Best Regards,
Dimitri

Hello Dimitri,
I am sorry to hear that SAP Build Apps is not working as expected.
I think this is a known issue that is currently being investigated. I will update you as soon as a solution is available.
In the meantime, you can check the custom IAS tenant configuration to verify that you are affected by this known issue.
Kind regards, Bea
