Cost center is picking from OKB9 for MBST t code

Hi,

I have posted GR with movement type 501 through MIGO and cost center i have entered manually 1000 (Cost center).

But the same material document i have cancelled through MBST t code, but cost center is picking from OKB9 (Default cost center 2000), actually cost center needs to be pick up from original material document number, but it was not picking.

And if i cancel same material document through MIGO, then it is picking correct cost center (1000) from material document

I am getting problem with MBST t code only, our business do not want to cancel through MIGO t code.

Could you please suggest me on this?

What is your system release?

In S/4HANA T-Code MBST is obsolete - Transaction MBST is obsolete (see note 2210569 )

In ECC still works with warnings, please check both OSS Notes.

Transaction MBST is obsolete (SAP Note 1804812)

Diagnosis

The MB* transactions for entering goods movements are obsolete.

System Response

You can still use these transactions in Releases 6.xx.
However, you should change your processes over to transaction MIGO in the medium term.

This system message can be configured in Customizing (omcq). It is not usually issued in production clients.

Hi Dimtar,

Our system is ECC6 .

I am not getting any error while doing cancellation through MBST, but i am getting default cost center which we have set in OKB9.

Actually cost center need to pick from the original material document.

Is there any reason to pick cost center from OKB9?
