After select related data with java on hana cloud, how can I built the rest service? Can I use jersey for restful service or is there another way to built in secure way? or odata how can use it on java?

I want to export data which is in hana database with json format. Which is the best practice for HANA cloud platform?

Hi Lucas,

You can have several ways to do it. Firstly, you have to decide which protocol you will use such as http, odata, rest etc. I used OData protocol to expose the related data. I used Olingo OData library for Java. You can examine the Olingo library from here.

You can also search this question on java documents because SAP fully support Java environment with a Java server or TomCat. Therefore, you can do whatever you want with Java documents on the internet. When you deploy your application to SCP, it will be executed your java project on a java server.

I think Olingo is the best way to do it. It has lots of documents and supports all features about OData.

If you need any example project, you can check SAP demo application on github. Here is the ESPM application. It includes database operations and OData protocol.
