Adding a info object(0) in already existing customized info object(Z) by compounding in SAP BW

Hello Everyone,

Please guide me in following situation.

There is a custom info object to which another info object(standard) needs to be added by compounding(compounding tab in info object)

Questions:

1. what are steps needs to be followed, since we are performing changes in info object we need to delete the master data which is already available. how to do that?

2. Do we also need to delete transaction data also?

3. What would be the impact ?

4. What is other solution instead of doing this type of compounding?
