Hi experts,

I am trying to make a chart that shows only the most recent certifications of the workers. If a worker has more than one certification, it should only add up the most recent one.

The groups I have are:

- Updated (<5 years)

- Between 5 and 8 years

- Obsolete (>8 years)

- uncertified

Examples.

1.- If I have an up to date and an obsolete certification I should only add one to up to date.

2.- If I have one obsolete certification and one Between 5 and 8 years, I should only add one to between 5 and 8 years.

Do you have any idea how I could do it?

Thanks

Do you want to ignore the obsolete certificates in measure aggregation (total certificates count ). If yes then you can just create a calculated measure where you can just say that if CV_ACTC2-TEXT is like / starts with "Outdated" then 0 else the measure value (last column shown in your table above).-Nikhil

thanks for your support nikhil_1486

I have been trying but I am not able to reach the expected result. this is the previous calculated measure and its result filtered by only one employee (to check the result)

and have sense because this employee have 3 courses between 8 . 5 years.

then I tried to create the second measurement using this one so that it only tells me the most up to date measurement for this user.

then I tried to create the second measurement using this one so that it only tells me the most up to date measurement for this user. But it is doing the following.

I don't know how I can address this issue

Thanks a lot

Can you please elaborate on what you expect with each certification type if they are more than one. I thought if its more than one certification you just want to take one. What do you mean by "most up to date measurement for this user"

Thanks. This partially solves my problem. I need it to only add up to 1 per person, even if I have more than one updated certification.

example: This employee has more than one certification up to date (<5 years). I need this employee in the overall result to add up to only one.

Thanks

julioesp,

You can create another measure of type aggregation using the previous calculated measure (discussed before) and choose the operation as COUNT. You can use CV_ACTC2-TEXT as the dimension or other dimensions as suited. Also explore the conditional aggregation part.

thanks for your answer marc.kuipers, but I don't think that's what I'm trying to do. I just posted another example in case that could clarify my question.

Thank you very much for your time.
