Hi All
We need to import from the ECC backend system to SRM the attachment.
I need a bapi or function for read the file from DMS and put its contents in an internal table.
Could anyone help me?
Regards
Angie
Hi Angie,
The attachment you are talking I assume this are the attachment to matl masters in ECC.
When we download material masters from ECC to SRM only some selected parameters viz. matl group, order unit, base UOM are carried to SRM and can be seen in COMMPR01.
so, I doubt whether yr this requirement can be met.

I saw the funtion BBP_ATTACH_CONTENT_WEBGET and I think it is about cfolder.
Could you tell me if this funcion is about attachments
from ECC to SRM?
I thought about this problem is in report BBP_EXTREQ_TRANSFER but I don't now if
is posibl transfer the attach from ECC to SRM.
Could you help me, pls?

Angie
Hi Angie,
I said BBP_ATTACH_CONTENT_WEBGET is in charge of reading external documents and creating them as SRM attachments.
It is not related to cFolders specifically.
This function is used in the external requirement scenario during the inbound SC creation in SRM: it reads backend documents, would it be a 4.6C or an ECC6.0 system.
ECC will send URL of your DMS docs, and SRM will try to process those URLs.
So debug the external requirement flow: starting in R/3 (check that ECC sends doc URLs), going into SRM (with an RFC dialog user), and break point in function BBP_ATTACH_CONTENT_WEBGET.

PS: please reward points for helpfull answers
Hi Christophe,
We work whit ECC6.0.
SAP replied to us:
"unfortunately I have to tell you, that this functionality is not
included in the standard. There is no transfer of attachments from
a purchase requisition to a srm external requirement.
Therefore you don't see a filled attachment table in your case"...
Do yo know explain more how traslated attach?
Regards
Angie
